Pulmonary edema (accumulation of fluid in the lungs) is a condition that requires urgent medical attention. The main symptoms are difficult breathing, choking, coughing with frothy sputum. Fluid accumulation in the lungs occurs due to heart problems, pneumonia, kidney diseases, exposure to toxic substances, drug abuse, staying at high altitudes, etc...
These are recipes from Russian folk medicine:
- Place a sponge soaked in hot water on the lung area. Salt water has a strong effect. Warm compresses are applied 3-4 times a day.
- Place the following compress on the lung area: cover the lungs with fresh cabbage leaves coated with vinegar, and put a woolen fabric soaked in warmed olive oil on top. This compress relieves pain.
- Compresses made of fresh, young, white cheese, which should be applied to the back, are also useful. Apply three cheese compresses a day. Let the compresses work for three hours.
- Take three hundred grams of onion. Clean it and blend it. Pour half a liter of dry white wine over it and add 100 grams of meadow honey. Put everything in a larger jar. Close the jar tightly and let it stand for 8 days. Shake the jar occasionally. Then strain the liquid and drink it for a long time, every day, one tablespoon 4 times a day, before meals.
- Blend a larger onion. Lean your head over the container with the onion so that your lips almost touch the onion, and put a towel over your head. With your eyes closed, inhale the onion vapors with your mouth wide open. The phytoncides of the onion have a beneficial effect. Inhale them morning and evening for a long time, until recovery.
Inhalation also helps in the treatment of sore throats, bronchitis, flu, tracheitis, sinusitis, encephalitis. This method of treatment takes a long time, but has no harmful side effects.
