Fresh juice with pineapple, ginger and turmeric for gout

Gout is a form of arthritis that often goes unnoticed, especially by people who do not suffer from it, but it is quite hard on those who do.

What Causes Gout

The disease develops as a result of uric acid building up in the blood and its crystals depositing in the tissues. This is why gout primarily occurs in people with hyperuricemia, an elevated concentration of uric acid in the blood and body fluids.

Besides the joints, uric acid crystals can deposit in cartilage, tendons, soft tissues, the kidneys and the outer ear.

Symptoms

Sudden pain and red, warm and swollen skin over the affected part of the body are common symptoms. Because this is a chronic disease, people have to take medication for the rest of their lives.

Fortunately, this mixture, which takes only a few ingredients to prepare, relieves the symptoms of gout as effectively as a painkiller.

Natural Drink for Gout

You will need:

  • 1 cup of sour cherry juice
  • 1–2 teaspoons of turmeric powder
  • 1 cm of fresh ginger root, or 2–3 teaspoons of ground ginger
  • 1 pineapple
  • Honey
  • A blender
  • A strainer
  • A glass jar with a lid

How to make it: Peel the pineapple, cut it into pieces and put it in the blender. Blend until smooth, then add the sour cherry juice, a teaspoon of turmeric and the ginger. Pour the mixture into the glass jar and close it tightly. Keep the mixture in the refrigerator for 10 days. Add a little honey, turmeric and ginger for a better taste.

How to use it: Drink this every day. It can be kept in the refrigerator for a maximum of one month.
